Bongo believes there is no spiritual significance behind giving offerings and tithes in Church. ‘There is no spiritual significance behind offerings and tithes’, he said.

According to him, ‘You’re basically taking care of your pastor with the false belief of giving it to God’.

He goes ahead to say that ‘Your pastor is using your money, which you thought you have given to God, to prepare goat soup’.
