There’s no love in the art industry – Ephraim Music laments.

Ephraim Music is one among the few Music producers who also do music. He came out during the time of Sarkodie, Samini, Dr. Cryme and the likes of many others who placed Ghana music globally and he’s currently doing well. He has songs with almost all artist he came out with excluding Dr. Cryme. In an interview with Abeiku Santana, Ephraim Music revealed that, unlike their days where there was real love between artist, these days there isn’t love for each other and everyone focused on pushing himself up there only which is bringing down the industry. He again mentioned that music is well sold in Accra and so if an artist will blow, he or she have to be based or relocate to Accra to sell their music.

"Combining music and production is not an easy task but I do it without ease unlike how I do it with ease when working for someone or with a different artist", said Ephraim. Before I create a song I mostly have to be in the mood while creating the beats.

He was asked about what makes a song a hit and he stated categorically that beats and lyrics do make a song hit but the spiritual affiliation makes the song hit differently. Ephraim also mentioned from the producers standpoint, music is made from the heart and for the people. My first Demo became a hit after I sent it to someone to listen to and to that it was the Demo of the said song. It was through Baffour Gyan that made the song a hit.
