Ghanaian winger Maxwell Boadu Acosty joins Korean top-flight side Suwon Bluewings

Ghanaian-born Italian winger Maxwell Boadu Acosty has completed a move to Korean premier division outfit Suwon Bluewings.

The 31-year-old joins the club as a free agent after leaving fellow Korean outfit FC Anyang.

After twelve years in Europe, Acosty left Europe for Asia, where he signed for K-League side FC Anyang.

Boadu Acosty moved to Italy in 2008 joining Regina before he was scooped by Fiorentina a year later. He has also played for Crotone and HNK Rijeka in the past.

He won two league titles with the Croatian giants.

Boadu Acosty, who was born in Sunyani moved to Italy at a young age, spending most of his career at Fiorentina.

He decided to represent Italy at international level despite featuring for Ghana’s youth teams.
