The Communications Director of the Ghana Football Association (GFA), Henry Asante Twum has disclosed that the outfit is reviewing all reports received after the 2022 FIFA World Cup.
Following the group stage exit of the national team, the various technical team members including Coach Otto Addo submitted reports to the country’s football association.
In addition, the management committee of the Black Stars had to submit their report to the Ghana FA.
Speaking to Asempa FM in an interview on Tuesday, Henry Asante Twum disclosed that once the review of the reports are completed, the processes to appoint a new Ghana head coach will begin.
“Ghana FA is now focusing on reports of the various committees of the Black Stars at the world cup. Once that is done the new technical team will be set up,” the GFA communications director said.
He added, “I think it will be this month. From the conversations going on it is very likely a new head coach of the Black Stars will be appointed this month. There will be an Exco meeting soon and everything will be finalised there.”
The head coach role for the Black Stars has become vacant after coach Otto Addo left when Ghana exited the World Cup at the end of the group stages.
