Black Galaxies pay tribute to fallen GFA Director of Competitions Mark Addo


Ghana’s home base national team, the Black Galaxies, have paid tribute to the fallen Ghana Football Association Director of Competitions, Mark Addo.

This was at their training session in Algeria on Monday when the death of Mark Addo was announced by the GFA earlier in the day.

The GFA took to Twitter to send the condolences of the team to Addo’s family and friends.

“The Management, Technical Staff and Players of the Black Galaxies have expressed their deepest condolences to the family and friends of the late Director of Competitions of the GFA, Mark Addo who passed away earlier on Monday,” the statement said.

The Black Galaxies will play Mozambique on Tuesday in their final pre-2022 Championship of African Nations.

Ghana is in Group C alongside Madagascar, Sudan, and Morocco, with their first game of the competition on Sunday against Madagascar.
