Accra Academy Old Boys Association 2003 Year Group Officially Launched Their 20 years Completion celebration with the theme; “20 Years Of No Regret”.
The Accra Academy Old Boys Association 2003 Year Group, had a successful grand launch of their 20th Anniversary after completion on 15th April,2023.
The launch which had the theme “20 Years Of No Regret” took place at the K.G Konuah Hall, having in attendance great personalities like Derek Laryea,
Director of Africa Digital Economy Forum and other old students from the 2003 year Group.
The planning committee of the 20th anniversary celebration put together a program line-up to climax the celebration in a grand style.

Speaking to MR. Kwesi Owusu Afrifa (Chief Organizer) about the event, he expressed his excitement and was amazed by the turnout, also thanked everyone who made it possible for a successful launching and calling on more hands to make plans achievable.
Speaking on the way forward, he said executives of the planning committee have laid down solid activities which is to make the whole celebration a memorable one, therefore entreating everyone to support the proposed agenda to mark the celebration.
“Well, we are celebrating Accra Academy Old Student Association 2003 year group and this year marks exactly 20 years after school. The launch was to usher us into the celebration and so far I’m very pleased with how everything was planned. It is a whole year activity pack, right from now to December so be expecting more as the days unfolds”, he said.
The group have also decided to take up a project as part of thier contribution in the school’s development.
Accra Academy is a day and boarding boys’ school located at Bubuashie near Kaneshie in the Greater Accra Region, Ghana. The school was established as a private secondary educational institution in 1931 and gained the status of a Government-Assisted School in 1950. It was the first private academy to be established in the Gold Coast, and is regarded as one of the foremost secondary educational institutions in Ghana.
Accra Academy was ranked 8th out of the top 100 best high schools in Africa by Africa Almanac in 2003, based upon quality of education, student engagement, strength and activities of alumni, school profile, internet and news visibility.
The school has it slogan as “Bleoo” which means to “Remain Calm”.
